Unique Cherry front primitive cabinet, fully restored to original or better condition. Cherry front, mixed wood construction. Back and drawers originally constructed from early 1900’s Montgomery Ward shipping crates. This was probably custom built for a small store? Many of the 12 small drawers have dividers. I reproduced one door, one drawer, and one trim piece on the bottom in cherry, and repaired damage caused by broken out, undersized door hinges. I also replaced the drawer and door knobs and hinges. The rest of the cabinet is (refinished) original. Based on a receipt found between the top and bottom sections, and the Montgomery Ward crate material, this cabinet dates at least to 1938 (or 1933 – hard to read).
